Precious-Ruth Orphanage Foundation (P-ROF) is a non-profit organization based in Gombe State, Nigeria. Our passion is to nurture, protect, and empower orphans and widows through love, shelter, education, and hope.
Our Story
Precious-Ruth Orphanage Foundation (P-ROF) was born from a heart of compassion in Gombe State, Nigeria. Inspired by her daughter’s demise, Mrs. Rakiya Musa Hashim founded the foundation on the 16th of December, 2023.
Seeing the struggles of children left without parents and widows abandoned without support, our founder envisioned a place where love, dignity, and opportunity would become their daily experience.
Since our founding, we’ve become a safe haven—providing shelter, food, education, and emotional support to a number of orphans and widows in need.
Our Vision
To have a safe loving and supportive society for the growth and development of orphans and widows.
Our Mission
To provide access to quality education, healthcare, and emotional support, and to empower them with the skills and opportunities they need to live fulfilling lives.
